Criss Cross King Crunchers star Jude Garcia etched his name deeper into Spikers’ Turf history on Sunday, April 6, becoming the league’s first-ever winner of three consecutive Most Valuable Player awards following another dominant campaign in the 2025 Open Conference.

Garcia, who first won the top individual award in the 2023 Invitational Conference, once again proved his all-around brilliance.

The 26-year-old outside hitter finished second in total scoring with 200 points built on 161 attacks, 32 blocks, and seven aces. He also led the league in blocking with 0.70 per set, ranked second in spiking (46.40%), and figured among the top 10 in service, digging, and receiving.

Garcia has now become the most decorated MVP in the league’s young history.

Meanwhile, the dynamic Savouge Spin Doctors duo of Mark Calado and Shawie Caritativo were named Best Outside Spikers.

Calado, in his first conference with Savouge, emerged as the league’s top scorer with 229 total points (208 attacks, 16 blocks, five aces) and placed third in spiking efficiency (46.12%).

Caritativo, on the other hand, captured his second straight Outside Spiker citation after a solid showing on both ends, ranking sixth in scoring (135 points) and finishing in the top 10 in spiking, service, and receptions.

Cignal’s Steven Rotter took home Best Opposite Spiker honors and was later crowned Finals MVP after steering the HD Spikers to the championship.

The 26-year-old Filipino-American was the most efficient spiker in the league (48.65%) and the best server with 14 total aces (0.31 per set).

In the Finals, Rotter averaged 14.33 points across the three-game series and closed with a 15-point outing in the title-clinching Game 3 victory for Cignal.

In the middle, JP Bugaoan of Cignal and Gian Glorioso of Criss Cross earned Best Middle Blocker honors.

Bugaoan, one of the league’s most consistent defenders, claimed his fourth citation after ranking second in blocking (0.67 per set). Glorioso, who also made his mark with Criss Cross, was fourth in blocks and finished with 85 points overall.

Rounding out the awards were Ish Polvorosa of Criss Cross and Vince Lorenzo of Cignal, who retained their titles as Best Setter and Best Libero, respectively.

Polvorosa led all setters with 5.20 excellent sets per frame, while Lorenzo impressed with 2.13 digs per set and a 48.97% receiving efficiency.
