Olympics, Asian Games, SEA Games—Hidilyn Diaz has won gold in all of these events.

She has yet to conquer the World Championships, until Thursday.

Diaz took home three gold medals in the women's 55kg division in the International Weightlifting Federation World Championships held in Bogota, Colombia. She lifted 93kg in snatch, 114kg in the clean and jerk, and total with 207kg.

Any Filipino could feel the joy in Diaz through her social media page, where she said "World Champion! Kay gandang pakinggan." (It's music to my ears.)

Another Olympic gold may just catapult Diaz to whatever it is beyond cloud nine, and the IWF Worlds marks only the start of her bid to qualify for 2024 Olympics.

The win certainly creates momentum for Team HD as Diaz shoots for another gold medal in Paris. That will be much needed, as this is also the last time that Diaz will compete at 55k. She will have to move to one of the new Olympic weight classifications for the Paris Games, down to 49kg or up to 59kg. While the latter is more likely, Team HD has yet to confirm their plans.

For now, let's just rejoice with Hidilyn in becoming a World Champion.
