Early punishment for Big Beau.
The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters management has suspended veteran Beau Belga for his "involvement in an unsanctioned basketball game in Cebu."
Belga has been slapped with six days suspension without pay, and the Elasto Painters will be conducting further investigations internally.
The forward's involvement in the brawl in the exhibition game in Cebu was exposed after viral videos were uploaded online. Belga was seen throwing a ball at a foreign player. The incident started when Belga's former PBA teammate and NLEX Road Warriors big man JR Quiñahan traded blows with the foreign player.
Magnolia Hotshots guard Jio Jalalon and NorthPort Batang Pier guard Robert Bolick were also seen in the videos but were not directly involved in the fight.
