The Elasto Painters finally have their new piece with the team.
Mac Belo is finally back on the court.
On Thursday, the former FEU Tamaraws standout had his first practice with his new team, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, ahead of their PBA On Tour match on Friday.
The Elasto Painters shared some clips of Belo’s first day with Rain or Shine as he tries to get acclimated with the system and his new teammates.
It’s been a while since fans last saw Belo in action after taking a a leave of absence in the previous PBA Governors’ Cup.
Prior to this, the 30-year-old already saw his minutes declining with the Meralco Bolts.
But with a new team, many fans are hopeful that Belo’s skills could once again be shown under coach Yeng Guiao.
The Elasto Painters, who are 1-0 so far in the PBA On Tour, will face off against the Phoenix Fuel Masters at the Ynares Center-Antipolo at 7:30 p.m.
Belo might make his Rain or Shine debut, or maybe he won't. After all, he has just one practice under his belt.
Either way, Belo is expected to play a crucial role for the Elasto Painters, who are looking to make inroads towards becoming a better, more competitive team come Season 48, which is set to unfurl in October.
