The PBA dropped the hammer on Calvin Abueva.

For his mocking gesture aimed at San Miguel head coach Jorge Gallent, the polarizing Magnolia forward was issued a P100,000 fine, the league announced Tuesday.

In Game 2 of the PBA Season 48 Commissioner’s Cup Finals, Abueva and Gallent were both assessed technical fouls early in the fourth quarter due to a verbal exchange.

But as Abueva was subbed out, he was caught on camera making an eye gesture, presumably aimed at Gallent.

Coach Jorge lost his right eye in a motorcycle accident in 1988.

“Any person who offends the dignity of any person on account of 'physical disability' shall be subject to a fine not lower than P 100,000,” the PBA said, per their league rules.

In a separate incident, Abueva was also involved for a post-game snafu with the Mo Tautuaa and his wife.

 Calvin apologized for both.

"Abueva apologized to the PBA and to Tautuaa and his wife. Nagkausap at nagkaayos na sila," said PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial in a league report.
