But for now, the Beermen will bask in the glory of their latest feat.
San Miguel reinforcement Bennie Boatwright danced with Magnolia's Tyler Bey in the left wing, dribbled past his counterpart then spun right for a beautiful layup in the heat of a furious Beermen rally in the fourth period in Game Six of the PBA Commissioner's Cup finals Wednesday night.
Boatwright ended up kissing the coveted championship trophy later on as San Miguel pulled off a come-from-behind 104-102 Valentine's Day title-clinching win over the Hotshots at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Fans saw the sweet-shooting American dance again less than 24 hours later, this time on stage as San Miguel put up a victory party with its most ardent supporters.
“That’s all I got,” Boatwright said with a chuckle.
It was one of the highlights of the said gathering.
Save for June Mar Fajardo, the entire Beermen armada marched onto the Ayalla Malls Glorietta to the delight of their die-hard fans.
“Maraming salamat sa inyong mga PBA fans lalo sa SMB fans, sa suporta ninyo. Hindi kami gaganahan kung wala kayo,” said CJ Perez, who posted a triple win at the end of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Ross, who also came up with a big three-pointer in the final stretch that helped the Beermen overhaul an 11-point deficit on the way to title No. 29, proceeded to hype up the crowd with SMB chants to which they obliged.
In almost the same manner LeBron James did during his introduction with the Miami Heat more than a decade ago, the Beermen skipper then made a bold promise.
“Let’s do it again next two conferences,” he said.
Jericho Cruz, who unloaded 30 points on eight triples in San Miguel's Game Five win, definitely hope so.
“Sana, sa next conference, champion ulit tayo,” Cruz said.
The Philippine Cup unfurls on the 28th with the Beermen seeing action a little later after going deep into the playoffs.
