Justine Baltazar finally threw his hat into the PBA Draft.

The PBA confirmed this in an article on its website, saying the projected top pick officially applied for the Draft on Wednesday, July 3. The deadline for submission is on July 4.

The 6-foot-9 forward is a three-time member of the UAAP Mythical Team before making a brief stop at the Hiroshima Dragonflies in the Japan B.League.

After his Japan stint was cut short, he returned home and represented Pampanga Giant Lanters in the MPBL where he won a championship and was named Most Valuable Player.

Baltazar will join this Draft class that also includes Caelan Tiongson, CJ Cansino, Evan Nelle, and Ben Philips.

Converge owns the no. 1 overall pick followed by Blackwater, Terrafirma, Phoenix, Northport, and NLEX in the proceedings which unfurls on July 14 at Glorietta in Makati.

Rounding out the first round are Rain or Shine (drafting seventh and eighth), Magnolia, Ginebra, Meralco, and San Miguel.

Before the formal Draft, the aspirants are required to attend a two-day Combine at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City on July 10 and 11.
