DeQuan Jones played with former NLEX Road Warrior Kiefer Ravena for the Shiga Lakes in the Japan B.League.
NLEX is the latest squad in the long line of PBA teams to change imports with the elimination round nearing its homestretch.
The Road Warriors are set to parade former NBA player DeQuan Jones as their new reinforcement for the rest of the season-opening Governors’ Cup, the team announced on Thursday, September 12.
Jones will replace Myke Henry, who averaged 26.6 points and 8.1 rebounds, guiding NLEX to a strong 3-1 start.

But the Road Warriors (3-4) stumbled and dropped their last three games--which put them in joint-fourth with the Blackwater Bossing in Group B.
"With DeQuan, we gain an experienced player who has played all over the world. He will help us rally and secure a spot in the playoffs,” Road Warriors head coach Jong Uichico spoke on the arrival of Jones.
The 34-year old was able to play in the NBA for the just one season back in 2012 despite getting undrafted.
He was even teammates with former NLEX superstar Kiefer Ravena when the two played for the Shiga Lakes in the Japan B.League.
Aside from Japan, Jones also played overseas in Italy, France, and Israel in addition to being named as the 2018 NBA G-League Most Improved Player and Slam Dunk champion.
The Road Warriors are set to challenge group leaders Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (5-1) on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
