George King made sure to leave everything on the floor for Blackwater, scoring an astounding 64 points in a go-home win over Rain or Shine in the PBA Governors' Cup.
Despite not making the PBA playoffs, George King made sure to leave everything on the floor for Blackwater.
King fired an incredible 64 points, leading the Bossing to a big 139-118 win over Group B no. 1 seed Rain or Shine Monday in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Blackwater finished with an even 5-5 record, but the Bossing missed out on the playoffs after having an inferior quotient compared to NLEX, who also finished with the same mark.
Still, it was a great showing for King in a Blackwater uniform, leading the team to a 5-2 record after coming in to replace original import Ricky Ledo.
Despite the loss, the Elasto Painters are no. 1 in Group B with a 7-3 record and will take on Magnolia in the quarterfinals.
