Ginebra has found the answer that has been evading it in the first two games of its PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup final showdown against TNT.
Brgy. Ginebra snatched its first win in the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals after outworking defending champ TNT, 85-73, in Game 3 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao on Friday, Nov. 1.
Scottie Thompson had a solid all-around game for the Gin Kings, earning the Player of the Game citations with his 15 points, five rebounds and four assists to help his squad avoid a 0-3 deficit in the best-of-seven duel.
The Tropang Giga took Games 1 and 2 in rather dominant fashion, winning by 16 and 12 points, respectively for a 2-0 lead.
The Gin Kings will look to tie the series in Game 4 on Sunday, Nov. 3, still at the Big Dome.
