Despite playing limited minutes, Kyt Jimenez remains grateful to have had the opportunity to compete in the PBA and to suit up for the San Miguel Beermen.
Kyt Jimenez recently opened up about his journey in the league after the San Miguel Beermen moved him to the unrestricted free agent with rights to salary (UFAWR2S) list.
In a lengthy social media post, Jimenez shared his gratitude, faith, and determination as he reflected on his time with the team and his future in basketball.
Jimenez was picked at No. 76 by the Beermen in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft.
“Isang bata na nangarap makapaglaro sa PBA. Thank you, Lord, at tinupad mo yung pangarap ko,” Jimenez expressed.

Despite acknowledging his struggles and challenges along the way, Jimenez--who emulated his game with the likes of flashy guard Terrence Romeo--emphasized that fulfilling his dream made everything worthwhile.
Jimenez extended his deepest thanks to the San Miguel Beermen, highlighting the support he received from the management, coaching staff, teammates, and support crew.
“Kila Boss RSA, Boss Robert, Sir Gee, sa lahat nang coaching staff na walang sawang matuto, gumaling ako and sympre sa mga kuya ko teammates thank you po sa gabay tulong niyo saakin andyan kayo palagi if kailangan ko nang kausap , tulong o anuman,” said Jimenez.
‘Yung trato niyo saakin parang kapatid po salamat po talaga. And sa mga PT utilities salamat din po sainyo sa pag alaga saaming lahat po lahat nang ginagawa niyong trabaho para sa boss and players,” he added.

While Jimenez’s PBA career has seen its share of challenges, including injuries and setbacks, he made it clear that he has no regrets about taking his shot in the league.
“Ano man naging bunga o kahit ano po opinyon ng iba wala ako pagsisisi na sinubukan ko kaysa hindi,” Jimenez emphasized.
Although his chapter with the Beermen may have ended, his passion for the game and faith in his journey remain unwavering.
Jimenez ended his message with optimism for the future.
“Thank you, SMB. See you when I see you, PBA. Laban ulit mga ka-TRX! On to the next!”
