Despite their dominance so far, Gin Kings head coach Tim Cone is keeping his squad locked in, emphasizing discipline and focus.
“We’ve been talking a lot about discipline, a lot about process, and those are kind of our key words right now in terms of getting ourselves ready for each game,” Cone said.
“This team has always been a good team about moving on. It can be hard to move on from wins because you kind of want to live in those wins, but you get to move on from them and keep, it’s a cliche, I know it, but you just got to keep taking each game at a time.”

He added: “You do that through staying disciplined mentally and really just focusing on the process of what makes you successful and not looking to the end result.”
NorthPort, the top seed after the eliminations, has struggled to break Ginebra’s rhythm in what has been a lopsided semis series. Now, with a Finals berth within reach, the Gin Kings look to stay sharp and close out the series in emphatic fashion.
