Ginebra missed a golden chance to finish off TNT in Game 6 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup Finals last Wednesday, March 26.

So the Gin Kings will surely make the most of their last shot at the title when the two teams collide in Game 7 on Friday, March 28.

The match starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

One Sports delves into the keys that will help Ginebra finally score a Finals series win against the Tropang Giga.

RJ Abarrientos needs to do more

Much is expected from RJ Abarrientos in the ongoing Finals.

But so far, Abarrientos has not done much, averaging 7.17 points and 1.67 rebounds in six games.

Though he has shown some flashes of brilliance from time to time in the series, the rising star needs to do it consistently, especially down the stretch.

Justin Brownlee has to be Justin Brownlee

Where Justin Brownlee goes, Ginebra follows.

That’s why Brownlee, injured and all, needs to be at his best from the jump as the Gin Kings eye their 16th franchise title in the league.

The good news for Ginebra is that Brownlee has been steady even with a dislocated right thumb, norming 24.17 points,10.5 rebounds, 4.33 assists and 1.17 blocks.

Keep TNT below 80 points

It would not be an understatement to say defense will make a world of difference in the match.

Whenever the Gin Kings limit the Tropang Giga to below 80 points in the ongoing series, they go on to win the game.
