With the eliminations of the UAAP Season 85 nearing its end, it’s only a matter of time before eligible players will have to make a decision about turning pro and joining the PVL.

This is yet another sight to see for the fans, as they will get to see some of their favorite UAAP stars team up with some of the PVL’s best.

When asked about the pro volleyballer she wants to team up with, Adamson University Lady Falcons setter Louie Romero had one person on top of mind.

“Si ate Jema Galanza kasi all-in-one siya eh. Lahat ng skills meron sa kanya,” Romero told One Sports, beaming about the Creamline Cool Smashers star, who's preparing for the Southeast Asian Games as part of the national team.

University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigress Eya Laure, on the other hand, had a dream answer. She pertained to not just one player, but a group of volleybelles.

“Siguro kung mabubuo 'yung 'Ride Squad' kasi iniisip ko kasi noong national team, magkakampi kami pero technically hindi kami magkakampi na as in magkasama maglaro sa court,” she said.

The UST ace is talking about the clique that includes her, Deanna Wong of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Ivy Lacsina of the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, and Riri Meneses of the Cignal HD Spikers.

It might be a long shot as all three play for for three different teams. Perhaps Laure should just eye joining at least one of them in the future.

Both Romero and Laure, meanwhile, also named the spikers they want to go against. For Romero, it's the bronze medalists of the last PVL All-Filipino Conference, Lacsina and the F2 Logistics.

“‘Yung gusto kong makalaban, siguro F2 kasi matatangkad sila,” said Romero.

Laure also showed that she loves a good challenge, choosing to go against the defending champions Cool Smashers in the hypothetical match.

“Siyempre pupunta na tayo dun sa isa sa mga pinakamagaling, siyempre sila ate Alyssa Valdez.”
