The PVL Invitational Conference is getting pretty crowded.

The Quezon City Gerflor Defenders announced their first four players for the mid-season conference, starting with its setters and liberos.

Leading the pack is 28-year-old playmaker Fhen Emnas, who is a product of the Adamson Lady Falcons program. She has also played for the Banko Perlas Spikers and the Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers.

Joining her is 26-year-old setter Sarah Verutiao who competed as playmaker for the Arellano Chiefs in the NCAA.
On Tuesday, the Defenders also announced the guardians of the floor beginning with 27-year-old Pia Sarmiento. She competed with the Lyceum Pirates and moved on to the Chery Tiggo Crossovers before signing up with Gerflor.
Backing her up is 24-year-old Julia Angeles, who played with the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders and Chef's Classic Red Spikers.

The Defenders are expected to join fellow expansion squads Farm Fresh Foxies and the Foton Tornadoes in the PVL Invitational Conference, which is slated to start later this month.
