The Farm Fresh Foxies have tabbed respected coach Jerry Yee to lead the club.

The Foxies announced Yee’s signing on social media and described him as “always with fresh ideas [on] how to build (or rebuild) a team from the ground up.”

And, throughout his career, Yee has certainly built winners—including Hope Christian School, an institution that dominated volleyball at the high school level with Yee at the helm. He did the same with the College of Saint Benilde Lady Blazers, whom he led to back-to-back NCAA titles in women’s volleyball Season 97 and Season 98.

Yee, of course, is no stranger to the PVL, having coached the Petro Gazz Angels in two separate tour of duties—first in 2018 and then in 2022. And, as he returns to the country’s premier women’s volleyball league for a third time he will have a familiar face as one of Farm Fresh’s cornerstone players in NCAA Season 97 MVP Mycah Go, who is among the first Foxies announced by the team.

Farm Fresh will be hoping that third time’s the charm for Yee, who has his work cut out for him in terms of building a competitive team that will be able to hang tough against retooled and reinforced teams led by reigning PVL All-Filipino Conference champions Creamline Cool Smashers, Chery Tiggo Crossovers, and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

But if there is one man who is up for that gargantuan task, it has to be Yee without a doubt.
