Another Atenean goes to Farm Fresh: Joan Narit is latest Foxie recruit

New PVL team Farm Fresh Foxies announced on Monday its latest recruit, former Ateneo Blue Eagle Joan Narit.

"One bigger fight on a bigger stage," the team said of Narit in its video announcement. 

With the decision to go pro, the middle blocker has forgone her eligibility in the UAAP.

The six-footer is joining in the lineup another former Blue Eagle in Pia Ildefonso, who sat out UAAP Season 85 before jumping to the pros. Ildefonso says she wants to “fall back in love with the sport.”

And with champion coach Jerry Yee helming the sidelines and NCAA Season 97 MVP Mycah Go in the fold, Narit, Ildefonso, and the rest of the Foxies look ready to have themselves a lovely time in the PVL.

Farm Fresh, alongside other new squads Foton Tornadoes and Gerflor Defenders, will make their debut in the PVL Invitational Conference, set to start on June 27.
