The Cheng siblings never fail to support one another.
Des Cheng has been watching her sister, Djanel, closely as the latter represents Team Philippines in the ongoing AVC Challenge Cup in Indonesia.
The younger Cheng, who plays for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, recently posted a clip of her sister serving up a huge block from the national squad's five-set victory over India.
It was a fierce highlight that certainly impressed fans. It's quite unsure if Des felt the same, but count that towards sibling dynamics.
"OK, noted." This is what all Des wrote, but the love is definitely there.
The Cheng siblings are all business whenever they face each other on the court, and these moments are proof that they remain each other's best supporters.
Djanel, who plays for the Petro Gazz Angels, has earned it. She was key in the national team’s win.
The Philippines is set to face Australia in another classification game on June 23. A win in that match will bring them closer to advancing to the semifinals of the competition.
Expect Des to go all out again in supporting her older sister.
