Trisha Tubu clarifies reason for turning pro after just one year in UAAP

Trisha Tubu surprisingly left the Adamson Lady Falcons to turn pro after just one year in college.

The UAAP Season 85 super rookie joined her collegiate mentor Jerry Yee in the Farm Fresh Foxies, but the pride of Tarlac clarified that her decision to forfeit her playing years has nothing to do with the coach, or anyone. It's not even for personal gain.

Tubu entered the professional stage with a noble and heartwarming reason.

The 22-year-old power hitter further explained that her father suffered multiple strokes.

"Kailangan niya ng pacemaker dahil naka-ilang operation at stroke na po siya," she said.

"Kailangan lang po talaga ng malaking halaga."

It's hard not to root for Tubu, knowing that the purpose is noble and it's the unconditional love of a daughter for her father which drives her to move forward.

Protect Tubu at all cost.
