It's only been over two weeks since the Kurashiki Ablaze won the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference by beating the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Now fans of Rebisco teams are sure to be feeling some dread, as Creamline's sister squad Choco Mucho Flying Titans will immediately be facing another Japanese squad abroad.

"Japan agad grabe!" one fan commented on Facebook.

"Na-trauma na ako sa [Japan], kahit elementary team ata mananalo sila sa atin," X (formerly Twitter) user @liliganados chimed in.

The Choco Mucho Flying Titans flew to Vietnam to participate in the international women's volleyball tournament called VTV Cup.

Naturally, they spent their waiting time at the airport doing TikTok dances. Check this one out from Sisi Rondina and Aduke Ogunsanya.

The tournament will be a tightly-packed preliminary round as six squads will be playing each other for five days straight.

Choco Mucho will first face Japan's Kansai University of Social Welfare on August 19, followed by Team 1 of Vietnam, Australia, Team 2 of Vietnam, and finally South Korea's team from Suwon City.

While fans are feeling apprehension with facing another Japanese team, some are looking forward to the Flying Titans' development.

"They have a strong foundation sa [volleyball] program nila," netizen hongjaysoo wrote on X.

Choco Mucho will bank on this tournament to better themselves after their consecutive seventh-place finishes in this season's All-Filipino and Invitational conferences.
