This is a very positive thing.
The Akari Chargers' Fifi Sharma on Friday shared light on some of her favorites and preferences, and the revelations were definitely enlightening.
There's no doubt about Fifi being a statuesque stunner and a fabulous fashionista.
But, apparently, she's also a big fan of books.
She even shared an Instagram Story of a bookstore recently—along with a TikTok of herself inside said bookstore.
They weren't just any books, though. They were manga, and they underscore Fifi's fandom—just like how Chery Tiggo Crossovers' Jen Nierva is a fan of Haikyuu.
Recently, Sharma was asked to share a random photo, and she posted one of herself reading Japanese comics.
Take note, she wasn't reading the comics online. She was actually reading a physical copy.
And what made it so intriguing is that Sharma was reading a page of a horror manga in the very distinct style of mangaka Junji Ito.
Junji Ito's works are famous for the art style and unsettling imagery, which shows very detailed body horror. What also makes Junji Ito so loved is how he seemingly enjoys real life by being carefree, a stark contrast to Hayao Miyazaki, the mind behind the childlike and quiet stories of Studio Ghibli.
Fans have constantly been amused by this contradiction over the years.
The newest Charger seems to be a bigger fan of Junji Ito, as seen in her recent Instagram posts. Regardless, enjoy your manga, Fifi!
