There's trash-talking, and there's trash-talking. Apparently, one middle blocker's subtle style got to a lot of volleybelles in the PVL.

During the Pilipinas Live fanstream of the first game day of the Second All-Filipino Conference, Chery Tiggo Crossovers' Pauline Gaston and Petro Gazz Angels' Dzi Gervacio were asked who was the most distracting trash-talker they played with or played against.

Many players in the PVL have learned to swag and engage in mental wars with opponents, most notably F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' Aby Maraño and Choco Mucho Flying Titans' Bea de Leon.

It turns out, however, that Gaston and Gervacio had the same unlikely answer: Remy Palma of Petro Gazz.

Gaston even recreated Palma's smile and blinking at the net.

Pilipinas Live fanstream host and former PVL player Mela Tunay agreed and explained why Palma can get distracting.

"Kasi siya, nagsa-smile siya nang pang-asar. 'Yun talaga," Tunay said. "Iba 'yung maangas. Siya kasi pang-asar."

"I love it though," said Gaston.

Palma seemingly confirmed the observation with her comment on the video: "Sorna na po 🤭👻 hihi."

"AND WE LOVE ITTTT ???🔥🥰," replied her teammate Gervacio.

"Mabait na po ako, sorna po," the 28-year-old Palma added on her Instagram Story.

Paano nga ba mang-asar si Palma? The Angels will start their PVL Second All-Filipino Conference campaign this Tuesday at 7 p.m., against new squad Galeries Tower Highrisers.

Meanwhile, Gaston and Chery Tiggo will start things off against the Farm Fresh Foxies at 3 p.m.

Both games will be aired live on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
