Sisi Rondina said such was their mindset as the Choco Mucho Flying Titans clobbered the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-18, 25-13, 25-17, to claim their first win in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference on Thursday.
It worked wonders.
“Alam ko naman na madadaan talaga sa trabaho ‘yan. Lagi kong sinasabi sa mga kasama ko na walang titigil hanggang nasa taas pa bola,” she said after the match at the Filoil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.
“Hindi tayo pwede tumigil. Puntos lang nang puntos at mag-enjoy lang.”
After a slow start, the Flying Titans made scoring look so easy with Rondina at the forefront of their attack.
The high-flying spiker finished with 21 points built on 17 attacks to go with three blocks and an ace as Choco Mucho vented its ire on the Foxies after an opening day loss to the Creamline Cool Smashers.
“Siyempre inuna namin (i-adjust) sa serve and receive and ‘yung play namin sa laro,” she said. “‘Yung composure, sinabi ko kanina na pag dating sa pitpitan, ‘yun ang kailangan namin. Lumabas naman,” she said.
Now with an even 1-1 record, the Flying Titans hope to keep their bearings going as they will next take on the Cignal HD Spikers a week from now.
Game time is set at 6 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
