Even volleyball stars can get starstruck.
Take, for instance, Chery Tiggo Crossovers libero Jen Nierva, who just couldn't hide her kilig moment as she encountered actor Piolo Pascual for a video with a gas company.
"Oh my gosh! I saw Papa P!" she exclaimed. "Ang tagal ng bebe time naming dalawa."
Pascual, who was wearing the uniform of a gas attendant, went over to Nierva's car and chatted her up in the station.
"Okay, aaminin ko na sa moment na 'to, parang hindi na ako humihinga," Nierva admitted in the video.
And she confirmed what it felt like to have a close encounter with Papa P.
"Grabe, totoo pala talaga 'yung masa-starstruck ka kapag kaharap mo ang isang Piolo Pascual," she gushed. "Sobrang gwapo at sobrang bango."
"At tignan mo, para akong kinikiliti sa kilig. Kasi sino ba naman ang hindi kikiligin, di baaa?" the young libero added.
Lalong humaba ang hair ni Jen when the actor asked if they could take a photo together.
"Siyempre feeling ko ako ang pinakamaganda nung araw na 'yan kahit lapot na ko. Charot!" Nierva said further.
Ikaw na, Jen. Ikaw na!
Others couldn't help but gush over the encounter as well. One of them was popular vlogger Mika Salamanca.
"Ang cute kiligin naman nyan???," Salamanca posted on the comments section.
"I love you Piolo! Wag kang titingin sa mata! Malulunod ka!🤩" chimed Fille Cayetano.
"Grebe ang sheye nemen with Papa P," added host Yani Mayo.
Of course, Nierva is a stunner herself and is arguably one of the PVL's most popular young players. But, again, even the stars get starstruck. And Papa P just happens to be one of the country's biggest names ever.
