The Cargo Movers are looking to power their way to a semifinal slot.
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers continue their push for a semifinal slot in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference after making quick work of the Gerflor Defenders, 25-10, 25-16, 25-14, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
The Cargo Movers scored its first back-to-back wins this conference in dominating fashion as they moved to 4-2 in the standings, tied alongside the Cignal HD Spikers in sixth place.
Aby Maraño led F2 Logistics in the scoring department with 10 points on six attacks, two blocks, and two aces.
But what made the Cargo Movers’ team captain even happier aside from the win was that their bench players played some minutes in the game.
“Na-proud ako dun sa result nung game kasi ‘yung instruction nila coach kailangan hindi umabot sa point (na dikit ‘yung laban) and napanindigan naman namin,” Maraño said during the post-game press conference.
“We were able to see the potential of players coming from the bench. Nakita niyo naman may talent din sila kaya thankful naging maganda start namin para sa latter part makalaro sila,” she added.
Coach Regine Diego shared the same sentiment, but she wants this to be the case not just against the embattled Gerflor but against other PVL teams as well.

“‘Yun naman talaga 'yung goal namin sa lahat ng teams. Kung kaya naman namin sa ibang teams na lumayo sa score, basta lumayo 'yung score, I want to see how others will perform din,” said Diego.
The Cargo Movers will have some time off to prepare for their huge assignment next game which will be the defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers on Tuesday, November 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Defenders, meanwhile, will look to grab their first win in the league as they face the also-winless Farm Fresh Foxies on Tuesday.
