She is definitely playing inspired volleyball.
Choco Mucho Flying Titans libero Thang Ponce has become a breakout player for the Ube Girls in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
Ponce retained her top spot in the digging department by tallying an average of 5.11 excellent digs per set after Saturday's games, outperforming PLDT High Speed Hitters' Kath Arado, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' Dawn Macandili, Farm Fresh Foxies' Cae Lazo, and Nxled Chameleons' Rachel Jorvina.
She also snagged the top spot of the receiving department, with an efficiency rate of 48.91%. That's roughly 10% higher than the second athlete on the list, Galeries Tower Highrisers' Rapril Aguilar with 38.51%.
Ponce is probably very much inspired, as she greeted her partner Lexlie Buenaventura on her birthday on Monday.
"Happy birthday, my Love! Thank you for everything, I love you always and forever! I'm so lucky to have you! 😘," Ponce posted.

Choco Mucho currently ranks third in the team standings with a 5-1 record after sweeping the Akari Chargers last Saturday.
But Ponce and the rest of the Flying Titans will have quite a challenge this Thursday, as they take on the Petro Gazz Angels, who have steady receivers in Babylove Barbon, Grethcel Soltones, and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas.
It will take place at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan and will be aired live at 6 p.m. on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
