Bea de Leon has played for Choco Mucho since 2019.
It's the Kapitana's turn.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans announced on Friday they are parting ways with longtime team captain Bea de Leon.
"Once a Titan, Always a Titan. Thank you, Bea, for your dedication to the Choco Mucho Flying Titans since your debut with the team in the pro league. Your leadership as team captain and support have played a significant role in the team's current success," the team posted on its social media accounts.
"Best of luck as you move forward to a new chapter in your career! We'll miss you, but we look forward to your continued success!"
The middle blocker has long been a fierce presence for Choco Mucho ever since she suited up for the squad in purple in 2019.
Embracing a new role under coach Dante Alinsunurin, BDL remained an emotional leader for the Flying Titans, including the team's Finals run in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference. That silver medal marked the best-ever finish for the Rebisco franchise in the league.

More than her court presence, Bea was also a true Kapitana off court, paying it forward with a scholarship program in Ateneo, further endearing herself to loyal Choco Mucho fans.
It's been a busy Friday for the Flying Titans, with de Leon becoming the third departure from the team after opposite spiker Caitlin Viray and longtime libero Denden Lazaro-Revilla.
