As the saying goes, "sana all."
A fair warning to those reading, too much kilig below.
Despite being in separate countries for their respective volleyball careers, Taka Minowa and Jaja Santiago continue to make things work.
The Japanese tactician, who is now also the Director of Volleyball Operations for the Nxled Chameleons and the Akari Chargers, made sure to take some time off to visit Jaja in Japan to celebrate her 28th birthday.
On Sunday, Minowa shared on Instagram a passionate birthday greeting to his wife.
“Happy Birthday, asawa ko. Thank you for making every day better with your love and support even we’re living far from each other,” wrote Minowa.
“Keep be healthy, beautiful and strong, but [you] don’t need to be strong to me hehe. Your smile is my treasure and pleasure, I love you so much,” he added.
It's shaping up to be a banner year for Jaja in Japan, as he most recently recorded her 400th career block in the V. League. Her JT Marvelous are also firmly in first place in the V1.
More importantly though, the kilig level? Through the charts!
But in all seriousness, seeing coach Taka and Jaja continue to succeed in their volleyball careers while also maintaining a healthy relationship is a dream goal for many.
Minowa is expected to be back with Nxled and Akari soon as they prepare for the upcoming PVL season.
Santiago, meanwhile, continues to strut her stuff with her JT crew.
