Pauline Gaston draws inspiration from the undisputed Queen of Swag Aby Maraño, who will lead Chery Tiggo in the PVL.
Aby Maraño's swag is nothing short of infectious, and Pauline Gaston can attest to that.
Billed as an emotional fulcrum since her college days, the former Lady Eagle has admittedly been taking notes out of the undisputed Queen of Swag's playbook.
"[I] have always admired Tyang even when I was still in Ateneo. Her love and passion for volleyball is a constant reminder of why I love this beautiful sport so much," Gaston wrote in an Instagram story.
In true beast mode fashion, Gaston has a plethora of on-court celebrations in her repertoire.
Be it a ferocious roar, a model-like strut, or even a celebratory dance, the 26-year-old Iloilo native is not one to shy away from showing her animated side on the court.
And now that Maraño is by her side, expect Gaston to become more confident in unleashing her passion for the game.
"Honestly it's my greatest honor to share the same side of the court as her," Gaston expressed.
"She encourages me to grow and I'm always learning from this beautiful woman. Truly an inspiration and an icon."
Well, aside from Gaston, do expect the rest of the Crossovers to bring the most swag come the PVL All-Filipino Conference starting on February 20.
The Crossovers will take on new squad Capital1 Solar Spikers on opening day, 6 p.m. at Philsports Arena.
It will air on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
