Chery Tiggo has infused more youthful energy to its arsenal after acquiring the services of Mary Rhose Dapol ahead of the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.

The Crossovers welcomed the promising outside hitter on Sunday morning, June 16.

Her addition to the champion club team came on the heels of American reinforcement Khat Bell’s acquisition, making them the latest members of the Kungfu Reyes-mentored squad.

Dapol, who turned heads last year after emerging as the MVP in both the NCAA Season 98 and the 2023 V-League Collegiate Challenge, is no stranger to the professional scene.

The 23-year-old already suited up for the Foton Tornadoes in the 2023 Invitational Conference, where she notably delivered a 28-point performance against the Farm Fresh Foxies.

Dapol last played for the Perpetual Lady Altas in the recently-concluded NCAA Season 99, where she ended up seventh in scoring with a total of 142 points, seventh in spiking with a success rate of 31.16 percent, and 10th in receiving with a 28.00 percent efficiency rate.

Dapol will not have to go through the inaugural PVL Rookie Draft. This is because she has already participated in the league as a special guest player.
