Cignal HD Spikers’ star Rachel Anne Daquis, known for her fierce serves and game-winning spikes, is now mixing things up in the kitchen.

Swapping her uniform for an apron, she's whipping up delicious treats and proving that her talent extends beyond the court.

Earlier this year, Daquis took her talents from the volleyball court to the kitchen, debuting for Forn de Manila—Barcelona’s very first Filipino bakery.

Just when you thought her cap couldn’t get any more colorful, she adds a sprinkle of sweet success to it!

In an interview with One News' Afternoon Delights, the volleyball veteran revealed that her trip to Spain was initially just a visit to her titas. However, the overwhelming demand for bread from both Filipinos and Spaniards led her to an unexpected opportunity.

Forn de Manila has flourished beyond expectations, and Daquis, along with her dedicated team, received special recognition from the Philippine Consulate General in Barcelona for their impressive achievement.

With Queen Rad back on the scene after some quality girl time with her HD Spikers squad, she's bringing her baking skills to the Philippines—this time serving up classic and ube pandesal that’s as royal as her return.
