Chery Tiggo import Khat Bell was a participant on the second season of Netflix’s The Circle US, where she earned the nickname “Khatfish Detector” for her keen detective skills.
Khat Bell is undoubtedly one of the best imports to ever grace the Philippine taraflex.
And despite being away from Philippine volleyball for years, Bell proved her caliber in her final match of the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, racking up 40 points for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers against the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
Bell’s volleyball skills are undeniable. But did you know that Khat has also dabbled in reality TV outside the court?
Bell was a participant on the second season of Netflix’s The Circle US, where she earned the nickname “Khatfish Detector” for her keen detective skills.
The Circle is essentially a strategic social experiment and competition where players are kept isolated from the outside world and each other, as they “flirt, befriend, and catfish their way towards a $100,000 cash prize.”
Appearing on The Circle was a great experience for Bell, and her vibrant personality made her a natural fit for reality TV, which also helped her bond well with her Chery Tiggo teammates for her Philippine volleyball return.
Many of the Crossovers are known for their easygoing personalities, so it only made sense to ask the “Khatfish Detector” which of her teammates would also make for a great fit for reality TV.
The first name on Khat’s list? Pauline Gaston.
“Pauline, definitely. Pauline would be great for reality TV. She’s hilarious,” the American spiker noted.
Gaston has been quite active on social media, regularly creating content. If you check out her TikTok, you’ll find a variety of videos, from random lip syncs and dancing with her teammates to mini vlogs about her life.
She certainly has the personality, is comfortable in front of the camera, and her overall vibe would add a unique flavor to any reality show she’d potentially join.
Gaston would be the one that everyone in the show would want to befriend because of the positive energy she brings.
Next on Khat Bell’s list? Aby Maraño.
“I also think Aby Maraño [would be great for reality TV]. Aby’s life is pretty fun.”
Naturally, the swag queen would shine on reality TV. Maraño’s got the charisma, a straightforward, no-nonsense attitude, and we know whoever ends up on a show with her would learn a lot from the wealth of life stories she has.
Aby would be the one who everyone turns to for advice, the dependable rock in the group. Her signature hair clips would likely make her an instant fashion icon, too.
The final Crossover on Khat’s list? Jennifer Nierva.
Jennifer Nierva would undoubtedly be a great fit for any reality show. She’s got the looks, the personality, and the dance moves to stand out.
She’d probably be the one teaching random TikTok dances to anyone interested, and if she were on The Circle, she’d likely be in the running for the $100k because of her communication skills.
All in all, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers have plenty of personalities perfect for reality TV. If they ever decide to pursue it, they’d surely succeed—but we might miss them too much on the taraflex.
