Aside from being BINI’s main rapper, lead dancer, and visual, an avid volleyball fan is also a suitable title for Mikha Lim.
BINI Mikha was on deck for the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference semifinals at the Mall of Asia Arena Saturday, where she showed her support for the still-undefeated Akari Chargers.
In addition to her career as an artist, Mikha also has a passion for sports. When asked about her PVL experience, she shared, “Masaya po kasi I like watching volleyball. Sobrang ganda ng napapanood ko.”
The girl group sensation is also known for promoting and supporting local brands, and this extends to sports, as reflected in Mikha’s sentiments.
“I love watching volleyball, and it’s nice that a lot of people support that in the Philippines.”
Aside from her fellow artists, Mikha has a strong affinity for volleyball players, which includes some of her pals with the Chargers.
“Syempre I’m supporting my friends sa Akari–si Dani, si ate Greth, and Fifi, pero hindi siya makakalaro [rito],” she said, noting that Sharma is out due to her national team duties with Alas Pilipinas.
Speaking of Sharma, BINI Mikha’s interactions with the second-generation sports star goes way back. In June, she left a comment on a post by the Alas standout featuring Japanese volleyball star Ran Takahashi.

The 20-year-old was also spotted attending a previous PVL match where Akari faced off against the Farm Fresh Foxies.
