Saya Taniguchi scored 10 points--all from attacks--to lead the Kurashiki Ablaze in a straight-set victory over the Farm Fresh Foxies in the PVL Invitational Conference, 25-13, 25-16, 25-16.
She also tallied six excellent digs for the undefeated defending champions.
Her efforts, along those with the rest of Kurashiki, were just enough to hold former teammate Asaka Tamaru and the rest of Farm Fresh to single digit scoring.
