The Nxled Chameleons will be led by Italian coach Ettore Guidetti for the 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference, replacing Chinese coach Chen Gang.
The Nxled Chameleons will be spearheaded by Italian coach Ettore Guidetti come the 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The Chameleons made the announcement on their social media on Friday, September 6.
Guidetti will replace Chinese tactician Chen Gang, who led Nxled to a 10th-place finish in the Reinforced Conference with a 1-7 record.
The new Nxled head coach brings two decades of coaching experience, having worked in countries like Italy, Poland, and Sweden.
Between 2019 and 2022, Guidetti led the Swedish women’s national volleyball team and the country’s women’s youth team.
In 2024, he coached the Volley Soverato, an Italian women's volleyball club currently playing in the Serie A2.
Guidetti will come to the Philippines as a volleyball coach, after veteran Italian tactician Angiolino Frigoni was tapped as the head coach of the Alas Pilipinas men's national team.
With Ettore at the helm, Nxled will look to build on its core players, which feature Jho Maraguinot, Chiara Permentilla, and Lycha Ebon.
