The Farm Fresh Foxies should receive a significant boost with the possible returns of Jolina Dela Cruz and Lorene Toring at some point during the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The wait won’t be long anymore for the Farm Fresh Foxies with the impending returns of Jolina Dela Cruz and Lorene Toring sometime in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
While the two will unlikely start the new PVL season, Dela Cruz and Toring expect to suit up for the Foxies in the extended All-Filipino Conference.
The former DLSU Lady Archer and Adamson Lady Falcon shared that their recovery have been going well, but they will still need to clear a few hurdles before they can fully play for the Foxies.
“As of now, I am getting better and stronger naman every day. Thankful naman ako kasi okay naman ‘yung progress pero may mga need pa rin ako na clearance from the doctors na kailangan ko sundin,” Dela Cruz told One Sports during the latest PVL Media Day before the new season.
“As of now, hindi ko pa masasabi na 100 percent ako since hindi pa ako nag hop test. Okay naman ‘yung progress ko, wala akong problema physically but nags-struggle lang din sa mental since nakaka-miss din talaga maglaro,” Toring added, noting that she expects to be with the team later in the year.
Dela Cruz went down with an ACL injury during the tail-end of the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference. Toring likewise went down with the same injury just before UAAP Season 86.
Needing almost a full year to recover, the star spiker and towering middle blocker are staying patient throughout their whole recovery process.
“Ang ginagawa ko is like palagi kong iniisip na lahat may reason ito. Ganda ng plans ni Lord na hindi ako pinadaan sa drafting and masasabi ko talaga na para sa Farm Fresh ako,” said Toring.
“Hopefully this conference or baka next year. Pinipilit ko din talaga na makabalik as soon as possible at least para makalaro sa team,” added Dela Cruz.

With Dela Cruz and Toring expect to be with the team later in the All-Filipino Conference, things are looking better and better for Farm Fresh as the Foxies seek to follow up on their first playoff appearance in the PVL.
