The Choco Mucho Flying Titans grabbed their third win in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after taking down the Farm Fresh Foxies.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans are back on track after escaping the Farm Fresh Foxies in five sets, 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-27, 15-12, in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Thursday, December 12.
The Flying Titans averted disaster after losing their two-set lead, denying the Foxies of the reverse sweep.
In the process, Choco Mucho snapped its two-game losing skid for a 3-3 record ahead of the Christmas break. Farm Fresh, meanwhile, saw its two-game winning run come to an end for a 2-3 record.
Tied at 7-all in the fifth set, the Flying Titans went on a 6-1 run capped off by Sisi Rondina’s down-the-line hit.
Caitlin Viray pulled one back for the Foxies but was quickly countered by Cherry Nunag, leading to match point.
However, Farm Fresh would not give up that quickly after scoring three straight points. However, in the ensuing run, Viray touched the net during Isa Molde’s attack which gave the win to Choco Mucho.
Mars Alba orchestrated the Flying Titans win with 25 excellent sets.
Choco Mucho and Farm Fresh will both be back on January 18 in the same venue. The Flying Titans face the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, while the Foxies go up against the Nxled Chameleons.
