Sitting as the bottom three of the standings, the Galeries Tower Highrisers, Capital1 Solar Spikers, and Nxled Chameleons look to turn things around in 2025 as the PVL All-Filipino Conference resumes.
It has been a struggle so far for Galeries Tower, Capital1, and Nxled in the ongoing 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
But with a brand new year and the PVL set to resume action in just over a week, the Highrisers, Solar Spikers, and Chameleons will be hoping for a quick turnaround to their respective campaigns.
Here’s a quick refresher on their start to the extended All-Filipino Conference.
Galeries Tower Highrisers (1-5)
Despite what their record may show, the Highrisers have shown great improvements in the conference behind their prized rookie setter Julia Coronel.
At times, Galeries Tower has looked like a team that can compete against some of the very best in the league. However, the Highrisers have also shown their inexperience after faltering despite numerous leads.

With promising pieces in the team like Alyssa Eroa, Jewel Encarnacion, and France Ronquillo, maybe 2025 will finally go in the way of the Highrisers as they gain valuable experience points.
Galeries Tower will be tested right away on January 21 as the Highrisers go up against the Cignal HD Spikers at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Capital1 Solar Spikers (1-4)
Life without super import Marina Tushova has been difficult for the Solar Spikers, to say the least.
In the first five games of the new conference, Capital1 has struggled to find its go-to scorer, leading to some disappointing losses. The good news? The Solar Spikers are a young team full of potential.
With rookies like Leila Cruz and Roma Mae Doromal, the Roger Gorayeb-led squad continues to lean towards staying patient, banking on the development of these highly-touted players.

In the meantime, Capital1 will look to pull off the upset in its first game back, taking on the defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers on January 21 at the PhilSports Arena.
Nxled Chameleons (0-5)
2024 was indeed one year to forget for the Chameleons after struggling throughout the previous season.
On paper, Nxled has the pieces to build a promising roster as the team feature the likes of Chiara Permentilla, Krich Macaslang, Lycha Ebon, and Lucille Almonte. Along with that is the team's recent signing of veteran spiker EJ Laure.
But with a full month of training under Italian coach Ettore Guidetti, the Chameleons could finally snatch their first win in the conference as PVL action resumes for 2025.
