Adamson University Falcons coach Nash Racela is thrilled to welcome Fil-Kiwi Jireh Tumaneng.

This after Racela and the Falcons secured the commitment of the 6-foot-8 cager.

Tumaneng turned heads in the Division 1 of the Smart-NBTC Nationals after averaging 13.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for the Pinoy Mavs NZ.

He is only 16 years old and can still play two more years for the Baby Falcons before suiting up for the seniors team.

“Masuwerte kami na pinili ni Jireh na pumunta sa Adamson,” Racela said of his prized recruit, who studied in Westlake Boys High School in Auckland, New Zealand.

“We know how capable he is, and we’re excited to develop him to become a more well-rounded big man dito sa Adamson.”

Tumaneng will eventually shore up the frontline of the Adamson squad, which already has the likes of Aaron Fermin, Lenda Douanga, AP Manlapaz, and Vince Magbuhos.
