The Green Archers are riding a nine-game winning streak heading into the finals.
The De La Salle Green Archers are back in the UAAP men’s basketball finals for the first time since Season 80.
One could say the Topex Robinson worked his magic with the Green Archers, but the ever-humble mentor refused to take credit.
For Robinson, the Taft’s squad is already built before he got there. It’s just a matter tapping into their potential. An unbeaten second round record is one solid proof that they are ready for the big stage.

“La Salle is not an underdog. Maybe they had challenges during the past, but they’re winners. It’s just a matter of giving them the freedom to really flourish, to be at their natural best,” Robinson said.
Expectations are always high for the the Green Archers, and more for this batch featuring last season’s Rookie of the Year Kevin Quiambao.
“Everybody from the start knows their roles. Everybody knows that these guys will win games for us, these guys also lose games for us. That really helped us a lot transitioning, knowing everybody’s roles,” Topex added.
“Along the way, through the challenges that we had, we define it more based on the experience that we have."
La Salle will take on season favorites UP Fighting Maroons in the finals which will start on Wednesday.
