A complaint from Bianca Plaza has been making waves on social media, as Lalamove only delivered five of six pairs of customized shoes for the UST Golden Tigresses.
Asan ang tsinelas sapatos ko?
If we were Bianca Plaza of the UST Golden Tigresses, we would probably be singing Tsinelas by Kamikazee with plenty of gusto and emotion.
The middle blocker went viral on Thursday, March 13, as she posted about her unfortunate experience with delivery company Lalamove. The courier only delivered five of six pairs of shoes, along with ill remarks for the volleyball athlete.
Plaza wrote that on March 13, there was an order for six pairs of volleyball shoes which was intended to be delivered to her.
"However, upon receipt of the package, it was discovered that only five pairs of shoes were included, and the pair designated for Bianca Plaza was missing," the post read.
She posted a snap of the shoes, which were customized Kobe 8 Protros featuring the yellow color of UST, a drawing of a tiger referring to the team's monicker, black claw slash details, along with the athlete's jersey number.
It was sent by a supporter, who wanted to stay anonymous.

Bianca immediately messaged the Lalamove rider. Instead, she got ill remarks.
“Tingnan mo. Sabi pa ng guard bakit [ang] tagal ko bumaba. Pinaghintay mo pa ako. Matalo sana kayo," a screenshot of the message in Plaza's post read.
"We kindly request that immediate action be taken to rectify the situation. We ask for the prompt return of Bianca Plaza's missing customized volleyball shoes, as well as an investigation into the conduct of the delivery rider involved. Additionally, we hope that appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future," she wrote on Facebook.
"And if anyone sees the customized Tigress shoes with #22 in it, help us get back Bianca's shoes. Thank you!"
Lalamove commented on Bianca’s post and asked for her order information.
“Hi, Bianca. We sincerely apologize for this. To help us resolve the issue, please send us a message via our Facebook page with the following information: order number [and] email address. Once provided, our team will reach out to you immediately regarding your concern. Thank you," responded the logistics company.
Former UST Golden Tigresses captain and now Choco Mucho Flying Titans ace Sisi Rondina expressed her frustration regarding the issue as well.
“Oh no!!!! Why naman ganun kuya" said Sisi.
Even Noel Kampton, a male volleyball athlete from the De La Salle Green Spikers, chimed in.
The UST Golden Tigresses are enjoying a golden campaign in UAAP Season 86, going 6-0 in Round 1. It's their best start since Season 73.
So the frustration with the missing custom shoes, made lovingly by the UST community, is palpable.
To this, we can only share the song from Kamikazee.
