Bianca Plaza, the UST Golden Tigresses’ rookie middle blocker, couldn’t hide her disappointment at what transpired after the shoe delivery controversy.
Bianca Plaza expressed "dismay" and "disappointment" over the supposed "lack of proactive measures" from courier company Lalamove a couple of days after a shoe delivery mishap
In a Facebook post updated on Friday, Plaza's camp voiced frustrations on how the assigned rider reportedly denied any liability regarding the issue.
“Despite clear evidence provided through a photo of the transaction showing the six pairs being delivered, the assigned rider has adamantly denied any wrongdoing. Even more concerning is the reported behavior of the rider, who allegedly displayed arrogance and hostility towards Ms. Plaza, including making ill wishes following the completion of the delivery.” the post written by the page administrator read.
On Wednesday, Plaza was set to receive six pairs of Kobe 8 Protros--customized for the UST Golden Tigresses since each shoe featured an athlete's jersey number. She only received five, with her own pair missing.
The Wednesday post also included a supposed screenshot of the conversation with the rider, who complained of waiting too long.
"Matalo sana kayo," the rider told Plaza.

Lalamove had commented on the now-viral post, asking for details regarding the order.
But Bianca also called for a “thorough investigation”, saying a mere comment on her post “falls short of being required to address such a serious matter.”
“It is imperative that Lalamove takes responsibility for this oversight and works diligently to resolve the issue at hand. The missing pair of customized shoes holds significant value, particularly as they were intended for UST Tigress Bianca Plaza. Therefore, we urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, retrieve the missing pair of shoes, and ensure they are promptly returned to Ms. Plaza,” the updatd post read.
"We trust that you will take swift and decisive action to remedy this situation and prevent similar occurrences in the future. We look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter." the post ended.
