Quentin Millora-Brown proves steady in the paint, pushes UP to finals | UAAP Highlights

Quentin Millora-Brown delivered a dominant performance to lead the UP Fighting Maroons past the UST Growling Tigers, 78-69, in the UAAP Season 87 men’s basketball Final Four on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Millora-Brown was a force inside, finishing with nine points, a game-high 19 rebounds, and four blocks to earn Player of the Game honors. His stellar effort anchored UP's defense, helping overturn a four-point halftime deficit.

The Fighting Maroons surged with a 21-4 third-quarter run, turning the tide and establishing an 11-point lead.

UST’s chances dwindled further in the fourth quarter when Forthsky Padrigao, their top assist maker, was ejected for a second unsportsmanlike foul.

Harold Alarcon chipped in 16 points, while JD Cagulangan sealed the win with a clutch shot to push UP's lead to eight with 1:05 left.

UP advances to its fourth consecutive Finals, keeping its championship hopes alive.
