As the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup in July draws closer, Alas Pilipinas’ Jen Nierva shared some sneak peaks of Creamline Cool Smashers’ Jema Galanza and NU Lady Bulldogs’ Bella Belen as the newest members of the Alas Pilipinas
Alas Pilipinas’ head coach Jorge Souza de Brito has recently confirmed to One Sports the addition of Creamline Cool Smashers’ stars Jema Galanza and Tots Carlos and NU Lady Bulldogs’ stalwart Bella Belen to the national team as boosters for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup, which will take place from July 4 to 7 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

Jema and Tots have recently begged off from the Alas Pilipinas duties as the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup coincides with Creamline’s vacation in Spain following their 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference championship. Meanwhile, Bella Belen opted out of the competition to recover from their minor injuries from their UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball championship and to perform their responsibilities at school as student-athletes.

And at long last, the final pieces of the team has gathered to answer the call for national duty.
In her Instagram stories, Alas Pilipinas’ libero Jen Nierva has shared some snapshots from their training, including Jema Galanza and Bella Belen. The two of them were seen practicing along with the members of the women’s national volleyball team.
Their addition will bolster the all-star Alas Pilipinas squad, which recently won the bronze medal in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup.
