Alas Pilipinas settled for third place in the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, with Vietnam securing the prize of a spot in the FIVB Volleyball Challenger Cup.
But the Philippines gets a coveted spot in the elite eight, by virtue of playing host at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Tournament format
The 2024 Volleyball Challenger Cup host team receives the first seed. The remaining seven participants are seeded from second to eighth in the order of their positions in the FIVB Volleyball World Ranking as of June 17, 2024 to form the tournament bracket.
