Tapping in for the injured Bryan Bagunas is national team stalwart and Cignal HD Spikers teammate Jau Umandal for the outside hitter position.

Meanwhile, middle blocker John Paul Bugaoan of Cignal will be replaced by Choi Diao of the National University Bulldogs.

The NU connection with Diao, along with setter Owa Retamar, Leg 1 Best Outside Spiker Michaelo Buddin, Jade Disquitado, Rwenzmel Taguibolos, and Leo Ordiales could prove to be useful--with Alas assistant coach Dante Alinsunurin Jr. at the sidelines.

De La Salle University's Noel Kampton, who stood out for Alas against Thailand, will also continue his outside hitter duties. Meanwhile, Perpetual's Louie Ramirez will remain as the opposite spiker along with Ordiales.

Leg 1 Best Middle Blocker Kim Malabunga will continue to man the net along with Taguibolos, Diao, and Lloyd Josafat.

Retamar will still conduct Alas' plays, supported by EJ Casaña. While Josh Ybañez and Vince Lorenzo remain as the Philippines' floor defense.

Alas Pilipinas made history in Leg 1, clinching a bronze medal in their first-ever podium finish of the tournament. It's also the first medal for the Philippine men's national volleyball team since the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
