It's a bright future for Ramos for sure.
Everything seems to be coming up roses for Dwight Ramos.
Fresh off signing an extension with the Levanga Hokkaido in the Japan B.League, Ramos on Friday unveiled his personal badge in his Instagram, describing it as a mark that symbolizes his future endeavors both on the court and off it.
And the Gilas mainstay couldn’t seem to contain his excitement as to what the future holds.
“As I look forward to continue playing for @levangahokkaido_official in the next year, I’m equally excited to launch a personal badge that will signify all my efforts moving towards the future,” Ramos wrote on Instagram. “This mark represents the plans I have as an athlete and as someone wanting to make a lasting impact for others in ways both on and off the court.”
And, judging by his career’s first act so far, at least after coming over to the Philippines, Ramos looks well on his way to leaving a mark in hoops and in life.
For one, his basketball career seems ready to take off in a big way after an injury-riddled second season in Japan that saw him average 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for Levanga. With some rest and an offseason of being part of Gilas Pilipinas, and potentially playing in the FIBA World Cup, there is reason to believe Ramos will be an even better player moving forward.
Actually, there is reason to believe that, indeed, Ramos will be making a lasting impact in more ways than one.
His fans will be more than happy to witness everything unfold for The Saint.
