Carlos Yulo is not satisfied yet.
Carlos Yulo is on a roll recently.
The 23-year-old gymnastics wonder won 3 golds, 1 silver, and a bronze in his most successful Asian Champions stint yet. But that accomplishment was not handed on a silver platter.
It's not a secret that the pride of Manila has to go through rigorous and excruciating training. Some of it was documented on Instagram.
And practice makes perfect, right? But Yulo had to go through lots of failures before too, in order to perfect his craft.
It's safe to assume that Yulo will experience a lot of these "fails" soon. Because heading into the World Championship—which also serves as an Olympics qualifier—the Asian champion said that they will increase the difficulty of his routines.
The 2020 Paris Olympian knows that remaining stagnant will not translate into gold medals on the world stage and at the Olympics.
For Yulo, it's not about just winning medals, but also reaching his full potential and setting a style unique to him.
So, back to the gym then?
