Some free time for Caloy.
The Christmas season is definitely the time to spend with family and loved ones.
For athletes, this is also usually when they’ll have a break from their training and competition—and that’s exactly what Filipino Olympic gymnast Caloy Yulo made sure to do.
As he continues to train for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Yulo decided to take some time off and enjoy the winter season with his girlfriend.
In his Instagram story, Yulo shared some photos of him alongside his girlfriend as they enjoyed some coffee and tea together. The two initially went cafe hopping.
Later, Yulo posted a photo of him and his girlfriend, where the two even got matching designer bags.
“Now we match matchy hihi too cute,” Yulo wrote in his post, “Our first Dior bag, we’ve earned it mahal ko, proud of us always.”
Definitely a well-deserved break for Yulo, who has had quite the year competing.
Despite a rather disappointing performance during the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Belgium, Yulo was still able to qualify for next year's Olympic Games in Paris.

The goal now is to continue his training and get ready for what is expected to be a highly-anticipated gymnastics event in Paris, as well as next year's World Cup Series.
