Everyone played, everyone scored, and everyone had fun.

The Asia All-Stars repeated as winners in the B.League Asia Rising Star Game, beating the Rising Stars 127-115 Saturday at the Okinawa Arena.

After last year’s 118-114 victory, the Asia All-Stars go 2-0 in the series.

All 17 players for the Asia All-Stars played and all of them scored, led by 18 points from Carl Tamayo, looking all familiar on his home floor with the B1 champion Ryukyu Golden Kings.

Former Bay Area Dragons center Liu Chuanxing, now with Altiri Chiba, added 15 points. Korean star Lee Daesung, representing the Seahorses Mikawa chipped in 11.

Kai Sotto (Yokohama) and Greg Slaughter (Fukuoka) finished with nine points apiece, while Roosevelt Adams (Yamagata - 8 points), Matthew Wright (Kyoto - 8 points), Li Shengze (Fukushima - 8 points), Ray Parks Jr. (Nagoya - 7 points), Dwight Ramos (Hokkaido - 6 points), Kiefer Ravena (Shiga - 6 points), Thirdy Ravena (San-en - 5 points), RJ Abarrientos (Shinshu - 5 points), Yang Jaemin (Sendai - 4 points), Chan Min-kug (Nagasaki - 3 points), Wang Weijia (Akita - 3 points), and Liu Chun-Ting (Aomori - 2 points), round out the squad.

The Asia All-Stars tried to distance themselves from the Rising Stars, building a 12-point lead at the break.

More fun came in the third, as the Asia All-Stars decided to go ultra big with a lineup Kai Sotto (220 cm), Carl Tamayo (202 cm), Greg Slaughter (213 cm), Li Shengzhe (211 cm), and Liu Chuanxing (226 cm). "Good experiment," quipped Kai, who took over point guard duties.

It was also in the third when the Asia All-Stars completely took over, with Matthew Wright giving the team a 94-75 lead entering the fourth.

The Rising Stars made it a game in the final quarter, cutting the deficit to three multiple times, before Tamayo’s triple with 3:27 left gave the Asia All-Stars a 113-106 lead which they would keep to the end.

All 13 active Rising Stars also played and scored, led by 30 points from Kai King on 10 triples. Koya Kawata added 21 for the squad.
